Mannavanur (mannavanor) is a farming village of 1437 households in mannavanor panchayat,dindigul district,tamilnadu,india,35 kilometres (22mi) west from kodaikanal.it is 7 kilometres (4mi) by road from kumbur village and 9 kilometres (6mi) from kilanavayal village.Altitude is 1880 metres(6170 ft).
There are 2980 males and 2947 females most of whom are terrace farmers and agricultural laborers growing potatoes,brocoli,frenc beans,butter beans,carrots,cauliflower,peas,cabbage and garlic.
